What to Expect
To work best with Grafton, follow these general steps:
• Select and apply directly for the job that interests you. We’ll check your background and experience and let you know if we’d like to interview you.
• Interview with Grafton. If that’s successful, we’ll recommend you to the hiring company and keep you posted on upcoming interviews.
• Expect feedback a few days after your interview.
• Grafton will notify you of any job offers and assist you in negotiating with the employer.
Note: If you aren’t selected to move forward, don’t give up! We’ll keep your info on file and call you when another match arises. Also, keep working with other recruiters. They all have different clients and opportunities.
Grafton staffs many types of placements, from permanent and contract positions to temporary jobs.
Contract, Contract-to-Hire and Temporary
Once you’ve accepted a position, you’ll return to Grafton to complete your paperwork and set up your payroll. You’ll also learn about employee benefits options as an employee of Grafton Services, Inc.
Because Grafton is your employer, you’ll work through us to request time off. Contact both Grafton and the employer if you’ll be late or absent.
If your position is contract-to-hire, you’ll generally become eligible for permanent hire after working 520 hours and meeting the employer’s expectations for attendance and performance.
After accepting the job offer, you’ll begin communicating directly with your new employer.
